I've been actively supporting the rollout of virtual power plants in Texas, California, France, Australia, and Japan. My projects range from batteries in homes to EV chargers in office parks, and large industrial batteries at solar farms.
A big focus of mine has been on secure communications between the devices and utilities. My team has been installing custom software that verifies that the device is secure and the data coming from it is authentic. That's really important when it comes to critical infrastructure like our electrical grid.
