Scientists have warned that while climate change is a global phenomenon, its effects will be distributed disproportionately. California, for example, has been facing longer and more severe droughts. Iraq, on the other side of the world, witnessed devastating floods. Shifting weather patterns are an unfolding force that will require us to rethink our economies and societies.
To address this crisis, I became involved in a number of efforts during undergrad and continued that work after graduation.
